Saying Goodbye

Goodbyes are really hard, especially when it is to people like my Mom and Dad.  As I sit here now, my hands are shaking just a little bit as I wonder what this next journey and another year will bring.  My luggage is packed and weighed, everything is prepared, and now all I have to do is wait.

Waiting is by far the hardest part.  Knowing that my precious time at home in the States is ending and I am beginning another journey.    Like Abraham I am going on a journey to a strange country looking for a city whose builder and maker is our Father.

Please continue to lift me up in your daily thoughts and when you talk to our Father, and I will keep you posted when I get to my final destination in south-east Asia.
